Description

Exposome Maps is a data catalogue of geospatially resolved datasets on environmental exposure estimates. It contains more than 20,000 datasets on several Exposome dimensions including Physico-Chemical Environment, Built Environment, Food Environment, and Social Environment. It provides harmonized data collections across Europe for following environmental factors: PM10, PM2.5, NO2, O3, Temperature, Ultra Violet Radiation, Road Traffic Noise, Urbanicity, NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index ), MSAVI (Modified Soil Adjusted Vegetation Index), Green spaces, Blue spaces, Imperviousness, Light at night, Walkability Index.

EXPANSE
The Urban Exposome is the complex mixture of social and environmental factors in the urban environment that collectively have an impact on health. Currently, slightly over 70% of Europe’s population lives in an urban environment. This percentage is expected to exceed 80% by 2030. It is therefore crucial that European urban areas provide a healthy living environment. The EXPANSE project addresses one of the most pertinent questions for urban planners, policy makers, and inhabitants in Europe: “How to maximize health in a modern urban environment?”

Global Exposome Cohorts
The Global Exposome Cohort Catalogue is an international registry, based on the FAIR principle, of exposome cohorts with worldwide coverage. The objective is to generate a shared, public space for findability/discovery of cohorts with datasets that are relevant for the exposome field (i.e., that can contribute to answering exposome-related research questions), containing source metadata for each listed resource. We define a cohort as: a longitudinal population (birth, mother-child, adolescent, adult, or multi-generational) in which individual-level data are collected on health outcomes and/or exposures of interest. The Global Exposome Cohort Catalogue hosts metadata for each cohort, focusing on elements such as (Type of Cohort, Timing and duration of data collection, Exposure domains covered [e.g., chemical, urban, lifestyle, social], Geographical scope, Contact information for dataset access, Link to external website or data repository).
